Precautions to be taken
It is worth noting that some customers believe that without oil in the drag chain, they do not need to use oil resistant drag chain cables.
There are indeed no oil stains or other corrosive solutions in the drag chain, but during the use of the equipment, unexpected situations may occur where lubricating oil from other parts of the equipment leaks and slowly flows into the cables in the drag chain. Over time, the drag chain cables will harden and the outer sheath may break.
As long as these two points are met simultaneously, it is recommended to use oil resistant drag chain cables:
● The cable frequently moves back and forth and bends inside the drag chain/tank chain
● The environment includes oil, cutting fluid, hydraulic oil, lubricating oil, grease, etc
